My sister Sara also posted a cute post of the "The top 10 things" at Disneyland. I love her Number 2. Porter's Perspective. So cute!
Disneyland! We had a blast! Best of all we got to be there with the people we love! Thanks Dad!
*I'm sorry all the pictures are kinda a blurry mess! I took my little dinky camera that is in desperate need of replacing, and some are pictures from my sisters' facebook pages! Enjoy!
(My Dad and his girlfriend Darcy and the rest of the clan at Disneyland!)
(At the airport! It wasn't too bad! Thank goodness for ipods.)
(Our sweet ride! Haha, my dad thought it would be nice to have a lot of space...so we got the grandma boat! The Lincoln...try driving that thing around in LA traffic, a nightmare.
(The first ride...BUZZ lightyear! Notice how Porter can't take his eyes of Buzz!)
(I had to put this...probably my favorite picture yet. The best is Kolbie blocking the two kids in the back! haha, he looks terrified!)
***Another funny story. We were riding Tower of Terror and this dad had about 5 little boys all the same height (I'm guessing friends all at the age of...maybe between 8-10) sitting on the row in front of us. They all seemed to be doing ok. I was impressed they all wanted to ride this ride. After the ride everyone gets up, but the kid in front of me starts screaming "NO DON'T LEAVE ME, MY BUCKLE!" he grabs his friend's shirt desperately trying to get out. But his friend jerks away and keeps walking, not realizing his buckle wouldn't come undone. I about died laughing (sad I know). So I reached down and unbuckled his seat belt for him and he jumped up and bolted out of there crying! Apparently the ride was a little much for his age. I've never seen someone so terrified.
(We loved being able to do the "parent switch pass". One would stay back with the baby and get a pass, so when the others got back you could go with another rider and not have to wait in line again. I got back from doing so and found Porter like this. Of course I leave him with my family and they take him straight to the water...in 60 degree weather...burrr.)
(We had lots of these!)

(We also had lots of these smiles!)
(And lots of this.)
(They weren't kidding when they said raising children gives you gray hairs. Apparently Disneyland with a 2 year old will increase your chances....my first gray hair at 23.......My virgin hair might not last long at this rate. I might have to give into coloring it.)
(On Sunday we went to church at my dad's girlfriend's brother's ward... haha! It was actually really cool. The nursery had a mini basketball court just for the kids, Porter was loving nursery there! Another really cool story: I stayed in nursery to help out cause I felt bad leaving Porter with strangers, and this guy walks in to tell us if his daughter needs a diaper change to find him in his class. He looked vaguely familiar. Then another person in there said," do you know who that is?" Me haha no I don't think so. Sure enough that guy was this guy (just a little nicer looking, more modern hair and without the mustache and glasses):
(Kip...from Napoleon Dynamite. HAHA I was amazed at his humble stature at church, really nice guy)
(Battling with Porter's favorite new toys... he won! My gun was a bit defenseless)
(Basking in his Disneyland toys haha, Thanks Grandpa!)
(He had one too many of these...yes he ate that entire thing.)
(I guess he started eating it so my dad had to buy it haha, I wasn't there)
(Best purchase of the night...a light saber. Look at the grin on the kids face!)
Thanks dad for a fun weekend! We had a blast!
