To "pinterest" or not to "pinterest"....

I have yet to become truly acquainted with pinterest and can't decide if we should truly meet.  I love being creative, but wonder if it is truly worth it. Is the whole pinterest thing is something I should proceed with meeting?!

(Note: I feel as though I have succeeded with not letting the cyber world consume the important parts of my day, and I would like to keep it that way...)

  1. I've heard pinterest can be very addicting... I have yet to try it.

  2. I have a Pinterest and it is awesome! The first few days I was like "uhhh this is boring and weird" but then all of a sudden it made real sense and now I love it :). I think you would like it a lot! You can "pin" anything from any website and organize them on "boards" (like for the home, food/cooking, gift ideas, crafts, etc.) and look at other people's boards.

  3. Pinterest! It's seriously the best. The thing I use it for the most is to find new recipes to try and to keep track of them all. It definitely can keep you distracted for a while, so you just have to have a little self control. :) I say if you're going to use it, then you should actually use it as a resource to try new recipes, or make stuff for your house instead of just find cute stuff and then not do anything about it. So yeah, that's my opinion. :) haha

  4. Oh oh, and I've even started to use it as a place to keep track of ideas for primary. It's great :)

  5. I just barely got on pinterest a couple weeks ago and I spent an hour on there the first time (one of those "oops" moments when I needed to DO stuff). But, since then I have LOVED being able to just get on and look at the recipes that I pinned and maybe find another. I think it's been pretty easy to spend as much or little time as you want on pinterest. I'd say go for it and just stop if it's getting in the way. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
